Poetry and Design: Craft Cocktails
When one of the best people and most talented bartenders in Boston takes a shine to your dream, I recommend run fast and far with it! Michael Ray’s guidance and belief has propelled Fruitations on a path less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.
A bartender with a degree in architectural engineering?
British born and raised, Michael came to bartending while earning his degree in architectural engineering. Michael still builds and design things, and lucky for us those ideas come in a glass! Crafting cocktails with fresh and real ingredients before it was cool at Abe & Louis’ and The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, Michael next designed and built the incredible craft cocktail program at Envoy Hotel and Rooftop where Fruitations is beloved by all bartenders and guests. (And we love them, too!)
Michael knew how Fruitations would impact the way he designed menus, crafted drinks, and enjoyed a dang delicious soda and cocktail at home. And for his guests, Michael is all about hospitality, giving a little more, a little better service.
If you’ve ever enjoyed a drink made by this guy – with or without Fruitations – you know what I mean! For summertime, this one is my absolute favorite, a go-to, a please drink responsibly because it’s that good kind of cocktail. Enjoy.
