Toast the feast with Cranberry Burst cocktail

During the holidays we naturally look forward to all the great food we’re going to enjoy. But don’t forget to think about what you’re going to drink! At Legal Sea Foods, our Cranberry Burst is a festive cocktail that offers layers of vibrant cranberry with spicy ginger and baking spice nuances. It’s finished with a rosemary sprig which imparts a subtle herbal essence.

The Alcohol ProfessorTo Mix Now: Winter Citrus Cocktails/The Alcohol Professor

One of nature’s cruelest jokes is that the most delicious citrus of the year are in season when a large portion of the world is in the throes of winter. With their bright acidity and ripe juiciness, citrus fruits are most often associated with tangy, warm weather, tropical style refreshers—limes for Daiquiris, Mai Tais and Margaritas; lemons for Corpse Reviver No. 2s; oranges for Sidecars, etc.—that aren’t as appealing to sip on a cold, blustery day (that is, unless you’re pretending it isn’t one). Some of the most expressive citrus (blood oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, and kumquats) are available right now, ready to tantalize our tastebuds with their unique aromatics and zestiness. It would be a waste not to use them in drinks now, wouldn’t it?

Here is a cocktail recipe to make those cold, grey days brighter using the fruits of the season as featured in the Alcohol Professor.

Winter Punch Antilles du Saka By Warren Bobrow

Warren BobrowThe cocktail whisperer, Warren Bobrow brings in the new year with a New Year’s day winter punch created with the award winning Saka Pink, and we are all looking forward to tasting it!

Saka Pink was carefully selected as the perfect mixer for this wonderfully well balanced sipper.

It should be served ideally in a coupe glass, which you may remember also used to be used for Champagne.
If you are still using them for Champagne, STOP NOW!
Only use it for this cocktail.
For Champagne, use a Burgundy glass.. much, much better.
